I was born in Colombia; lived the first 6 years of my life in the U.S. (parent's stuff to do there), then came back to my country. I graduated as an Architect in 1995 and have been working ever since. My interest in 3d came from my career, and the posibilities that 3d opened has taken me into other very interesting fields such as realtime graphics and game development. Lately, programming has grabbed my attention so learning a bit of C++ has closed this circle of 3d know-how taking me from being just a spectator into creating my own 3d stuff. The Irrlicht engine and its community has played a very important role in teaching me what I know about programming 3d graphics in C++.
